Easter holiday weekend

We were thankful to have had a really great Easter break. The British schools are off for two weeks and one day (it is the break between the winter term and the summer term), and we were able to pack in a lot of activity.

Above is a picture of Adam dressed as a turn-of-the-century pilot at the Imperial War Museum. They had a neat (and short!) scavenger hunt for the kids which was a big hit.

On Good Friday we attended a children's service in a nearby village, and then afterwards they had loads of Easter-themed crafts and treats for the kids.

Decorating chocolate nests for Easter. I am pretty sure Adam ate a ton of those mini-eggs.

On Easter morning my mom (or should I say the Easter Bunny) used to leave a jelly bean trail from the door of my room all the way around the house to my Easter basket. Although the Bunny doesn't take part in our holiday celebrations, I still leave a trail of jelly beans to their Easter basket. It is fun how much they love it and it isn't that much work for me! :)

Following the trails down the stairs (each boy has his own colored trail)

That was Dave's idea to go around the couch.

Candy! It turned out to be a little too much sugar before church.

On our walk into church we ran into some swans

Easter kids! This was the best shot I could get. Notice our long-sleeves... were you cold there in America?

Our English Rose... such a cutie.

We hope you had a nice holiday!
