I still can't upload pics but my problem should be fixed next week.
In the meantime, I have a burning question for you: If you fly into an airport and just make a connecting flight there, can you count that you have been to the city/state/country that the airport is in?
For example, I have connected through Chicago many times but I have never stepped foot outside the airport. So I believe that it doesn't count and I have never been to Chicago or the state of Illinois. Dave thinks that it does count. He has flown into Casablanca and changed planes there so he thinks that he has been to Morocco. I don't. What do you think? I mean I guess if I had to take a lie detector test and they asked me if I had been to Illinois, techincally the answer would be yes. But for all practical purposes, I have not been there.
So what do I have to do in a city/state to make it count that I have been there? Well I think if you drive through a state (more than like 10 miles) it counts, and if you stand on the dirt of that state then it counts too. Even if you stop in Chicago, leave the airport and go have lunch in town, that counts. But making a connecting flight there does not count.
There you have it. Let me know if you think I am right or wrong. I know I am right on this issue, but you are entitled to your opinon :)

I agree Kate! Because you haven't really seen the place if you only see the inside of the airport. Sorry Dave you haven't really been to Morocco. :)
I think it depends on whether you are international or not. You have been to Illinois, but Dave has not been to Morocco. when you fly international you are in this 'no-mans' zone until you clear customs and enter the airport. A friend just flew here from slovakia and almost got returned back because his intentions were declared in the wrong 'zone' - if he had just made it out to the food court, he would have been officially in the US, and his intentions would no longer have mattered, but since he declared them before technically setting foot in the US and clearing customs, it was an issue. Thankfully he was let in! So that's my opinion - a bummer, cause if the airport counted in other countries, I would have a LOT longer list of the countries I have actually visited! But Kate if you were domestic, then I say you have been to Illinois. :)
I agree with your summary completely!
I have to been to Morrocco. I went through customs and stood outside the airport. That totally counts. I oppose these misleading statements.
Dave
Dave, sorry to say you have not been to Morocco. Unless of course you left the airport property when you stood outside it...otherwise, no. And Kate, you should go to Illinois sometime since you haven't been there :)
I'm with you Kate!
I don't think that you've been to a place unless you actually spend a couple of hours there or eat a meal. I have to agree with Kate on this one.
Joe says it doesn't even count if you drive through a state but don't stop for anything other than a quick meal or gas.
