We have two special people to send birthday wishes to today. My mom (aka grandma) and our nephew (Dave's eldest sister's son) Bray. They both share the great birthday of September 24, albeit a few years apart. We wish we could be there to celebrate with each of you, but have a fabulous day!
Grandma and John enjoying a mini- vacation in Colorado last week (notice his shirt). We don't have any pictures of Bray because I haven't met him yet! But he is a cute little guy for sure.
And John has just celebrated his 9-month birthday (is it really a birthday?). Here he is with his green hippo. It is hard to get him to stay still next to it now. He just wants to play with it when I lay it next to him.
Notice his New Jersey Devils attire? If he is anything like his dad, he will love hockey. If he is anything like his mom he will run the other way because he doesn't want to be cold, no offense to the sport.
I also wanted to update you on a previous post. A week ago I asked for opinions on what constitutes a visit to a city/state/country. Dave has told me that he feels "internet bullied" and he threatened to get his own blog where only his friends will leave comments. He claims that only my friends comment on this blog. But last I checked, none of you every declared that you were solely my friends and not his, so I think he is just a little upset. We'll give him time to get over it. Cheers!

Dave, I have to say - based on my comment last week, and then later reading that you DID go through customs and were on Moroccan soil, then IMO, yes, you have been to Morocco. So when we meet one day, will you be my friend? :)
I love the blog Kate! John is SO cute! My hubby Sam is a huge hockey fan too (grew up in Edmonton so Holly had a pair of pink Oiler baby shoes soon after she was born) and, like you, I hate the cold :) Hope you had a safe trip home and it was great seeing you!
P.S. Dave, looking forward to meeting you sometime. You and my hubby Sam can talk hockey. If you come visit, we'll take you to an Oilers or Flames game!

I haven't met you... and I do know Dave, but yet I agree with you. So I think Dave is just wrong, not being bullied! He, he.
