Happy V-Day!

We hope you had a great Valentine's Day. Dave, my true valentine, suprised me this morning by having a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered! I was very suprised and I have not stopped admiring them since they arrived. Dave used to send flowers to my work when we were dating/engaged and one of the older ladies on the staff saw one of the bouquets and she asked, "Does he love Jesus?" and I said yes and she responded, "Honey, then KEEP HIM!" Well I took her advice!

Later that day I got a second valentine. Apparently at John's child care they have taught him how to use the phone to call the flower company, order a balloon bouquet, and charge it to his dad's credit card! Wow I thought we had at least ten more years until we had to deal with John using our charge cards but I guess not. Needless to say I was so happy that John sent me a valentine bouquet. Above is a picture of him giving me a valentine's kiss. I think these sort of kisses are what lead to the multiple colds I have had this winter.


But Valentine's Day is not all about what gifts I get (though I do like my gifts). We were so happy to have our friends Ryan and Emily in town so we had them over for dinner. Emily is a fabulous friend. If she ever moves to your neck of the woods I highly recommend getting to know her and her family. She is wonderful and her son Asher is John's little buddy.
