Happy Halloween!

I really do like Halloween. I think it is so fun that kids get to dress up and that people open their doors and generously give out to candy to so many kids. I don't read into it very much, meaning I don't get caught up in any history of the holiday or any weird scary things. I just appreciate what it is on the surface.

With that said, we dove into Halloween again this year. I even got some decorations at the BX! Our neighbor graciously let John borrow their Spiderman costume so I didn't have to buy a new one. And Adam dressed up as a Strike Eagle pilot (not a WSO, Dave noted that the patches were pilot wings).

This is kind of a random picture but it was taken at a local Fall Festival that we attended this past weekend. Adam loves dogs (unlike John who is very afraid of them) and wanted to spend all his time with the dog.

Preparing to carve the pumpkin. I like the thought of carving the pumpkin but when it is time to actually do it, it is harder than I anticipate.

Pre-trick or treat meltdown (we had a post-trick or treat meltdown as well)

The best shot we got! Do you like the pumpkin? John wanted a sad face so that is the best I could do!

Oh how I wish for this type of brotherly love. Maybe when they are older???

Adam loves his lollipops! He hung out with me on the front lawn while I passed out the candy. I would say he was pretty confused about what was going on, but he loved his lollipop. I even let him try a Reese's peanut butter cup for the first time. He starting kissing the remainders of it as he was eating it. My kind of kid!!

Happy Halloween!!
