A Very VY Thanksgiving

We hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Our holiday began with the Thanksgiving feast at John's preschool. As you can see, the costumes aren't so politically correct but at least they were colorful :) Last year John didn't sing during the school pageants, he just stood there. This time he was very animated which was very cute.

The big highlight was the Thanksgiving holiday itself as all of Dave's family (his parents, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, and seven nephews, and one niece) all came to our house for Thanksgiving. That was a total of 16 people including us! Not everyone slept at our house, but everyone spent all the days here. I thought it was going to be a challenge since I only have one fridge, but everything worked out very well. The company was great and John loved playing with his cousins. It was great to catch up with everyone too.

Papa took a turn cooking breakfast for everyone.

Dance party on the Wii. Nice moves Kristin!

Adam and his cousin Kyle. Adam is 18 months old and Kyle is 15 months. Hopefully they will be best buddies as they get older. Right now, Adam preferred to pull out Kyle's pacifier (he was facinated with it) and hit Kyle with things... probably because John does that to Adam.

John and his cousin Connor (Connor is 23 days older than John) at the water's edge. Right before John decided to wade into the water.

All the cousins. Charlie (2), Bray (4), Noah (8), Kyle (15 mo), Owen (7), Adam (18 mo), Connor (3), John (3). Poor Charlie... she's the only girl! Good thing they all like her.

I love pictures like this... everyone getting ready to take a group picture.

The spread! I cooked (with the help of my mother-in-law) my first Turkey! I don't even remember eating it as things were so crazy with the kids.

Everyone eating. It all went so well! We are all getting together at a beach house in April next year. We look forward to these great times with family.

Cheers!
