Cutting the dough. Guess what? Without knowing it, I was wearing the exact shirt I was wearing when we did this last year. I can't decide if that is uncool or cool.
Decorating the cookies
Sugar coma, anyone? My red color never gets dark enough so they are always pink. And I didn't have any Christmas sprinkles either. So these are more like "Breast Cancer Awareness/ Fourth of July" cookies.
I got us some new stockings this year too
Adam's stocking?
John was really into decorating the tree this year. He said, "Wow we have so many ornaments! Thank you God for all our ornaments!"
Poor Adam, all he wants to do is cuddle with his brother, and he is almost always instantly rebuffed.
Matching shirts day! Notice Adam in the shorts? Yes it was in the upper 70's yesterday. Wonderful! I love going out at night to look at Christmas lights wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Sadly, it is cold today.
Two dollar bill given to John by his dentist since John has stopped sucking his fingers! We are very proud of him.
In other news:
- Dave is just days away from completing his Masters degree. Very exciting!
- I went to Living Proof Live last weekend (Beth Moore). It was a great time. How fun to see her in person and experience some great worship. I am not a Beth groupie, but I appreciate her fun personality, and her teaching definitely drew me closer to the Lord. I am so grateful I got to experience this with some of my good friends here.
- Does anyone else feel really overwhelmed with all the charitable giving opportunities at Christmas? I almost feel paralyzed when I am faced with all the options and I feel all the needs. I feel so bad for each cause and it is really hard to know what to give to and what to say no to.
Cheers!
