Mom's visit

We had a great visit with my mom last week. She came over to spend some time with us and she also gave me and Dave a weekend off! We packed our backpacks and headed to:

London! We hadn't been there yet since we moved back so it was nice to go just the two of us. We spent time at St. Paul's and climbed to the top for some great views. Then we did what is known as the "Jubilee Walk" down the south bank of the Thames just taking in the sights. At night we had a really nice Indian meal. The next day we did some more walking, viewing the Museum of London, and then to Nando's for lunch. Then we headed back to the house. It was a nice little break and we are grateful for my mom's help. She was in the thick of jet lag when we were away so she is that much more of a hero for helping have a break!

On Monday we had a ladies day in Cambridge complete with Wagamama for lunch (see above) and some shopping.

She enjoyed helping John with his homework

And spending time just hanging out.

We miss her already!
