Adam was a star in his school nativity play. That is him with his class on the stage:
Poor kid. Many other kids had nice star costumes. He had a football jersey with some strands of tinsel I gave his teacher to wrap around him. He thought it was cool though, thankfully.
Our "Joseph"! And the school provided the costume!! John was chosen to be Joseph for his church service (for the Year 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s). I was very proud of him for getting chosen to be Joseph, and I think he took the role very seriously. I have always told him that Joseph is one of my favorite bible characters... such a godly and faithful man when God directed his life on a very different course than the one he probably envisioned.
There is John at the end of the aisle with Mary and the baby. To the left is the Vicar. This is inside our village church.
A close-up
Singing with all his heart, but I think the baby was forgotten and laying on the floor?? Hopefully that was a comfortable position.
My parents are here for their birthday (John's) and Christmas visit. We are enjoying the milder weather.
Christmas sweaters here are no joke! Everyone (that is an exaggeration but you get the point) wears them. Even if they are ridiculously tacky people wear them normally. I used to think Christmas sweaters were just for teachers or to wear to an ugly sweater party, but not so here! I am hoping that some of them will go on sale after Christmas and I will snatch them up for next year.
Happy Christmas!
