Winter/Springish

Long time no post! Life just gets in the way sometimes. Here are a few bits and bobs that we have been up to.

We just became members of the National Trust. Is is a country-wide association of estates that usually have some sort of stately house and acres of different kind of grounds to wander. We look forward to exploring more of the English countryside by stopping and different National Trust locales that are in East Anglia. One weekend we hit up Wimple Estate and Home Farm. We were in time to see a few of the newest lambs.

Very cute

Probably our favorite part of Home Farm was seeing the pigs and piglets. They were pretty docile until it was feeding time... then they wailed and squealed like crazy. It freaked Natalie out so we had to leave.

A view of the new school library. I thought they did a nice job!

First haircut! We go to the barber shop often to get the boys' hair cut, and the lady their offered to give Natalie a trim since her hair was really wispy at the bottom. Natalie was very excited and sat very still. Notice all the hair on the floor... we have noticed that at the hair dressers and barbers here that they don't really clean up the hair much throughout the day.

Finished product!

We celebrated Dave's birthday a few weeks ago. We made economical use of the candles we had.

Natalie with some of the kids at our village church. We go there for their weekly playgroup and love it.

A brief, shining moment :)

Cheers!
