A birthday and some "tagging"

It was dad's birthday this past weekend so we celebrated with one of our favorite desserts: red velvet cake. It's a homemade cake from Southern Living and it is goooooood.

Dave loves to read and spend time with John.

Okay so I have recently been introduced to "tagging" in the blog world. This is where someone blogs about something and then challenges their friends who are bloggers to blog about the same thing (did I say "blog" enough in that sentence?). So here it goes:
1) What are some of your preferences that have changed since you were young?
  • I love red peppers now, I used to hate them
  • I really can't stand cold weather. I used to be a skier and I think I used to like going out in the snow. Not anymore.
  • I love New Mexico. I used to want to move soooo bad when I was young. Now I appreciate what a great place it is.
2) Rank the seasons in the order you like them most.
  • Summer, Spring, Fall, Winter
3) If you could only live in one city for the rest of your life, which one would it be? And if you could only live in one country (besides the USA) for the rest of your life, and never go anywhere else, where would it be?
  • hmmm... this would be a tie between Albuquerque and Atlanta. I really can't decide
  • The country would be France. It is big enough, has varied terrain, and great food.
Okay, if you are on my blogroll then you are tagged with these questions. Tara, Abi, Meredith, Kristin, Amy, Maureen, Dori, Kelly, Michelle, Rebekah... I double dog dare you to answer the above questions on your blog then tag your blogging friends.

Cheers!

Your pictures are soooo cute! I can't believe I turn 28 this year- its pretty strange getting so close to 30. I don't havea blog but I figured I would answer some of your questions anyway.
preferences that are different:
1.I like spicer (still not really spicy) food now
2.I used to be terrified of dogs but love them now
3.I thought I would hate teaching and would never want to do it- but I love it

Seasons:
Spring, Summer, Fal, Winter

Places:
Definitely Atlanta, I have no clue about the country- don't think I have been to enough places to answer that...

fun questions, Kate!
