- We are under contract for a house in Florida! We are very excited to have a home of our own. We don't quite know all that it entails to have our own home, but we are excited and we look forward to what God has in store for us.
- John just looks like such a big boy these days! We got him a new pair of shoes (don't worry, they are from Target and only cost $17) and he looks like a real boy these days. We are proud of him as he is great at playing with other kids as well as by himself. He loves trains, buses and planes.
- We are at the halfway point of our stay here in San Antonio. It feels like we have been here a lot longer than two months. We miss our home and friends in the UK a lot. But we are trying to stay positive and count our blessings here in TX. When we came to TX we knew a few people, but when we go to Florida we won't know anyone really, (accept our Realtor and she will be sick of me by the time we get there) so our prayer is that we can make some fast friendships when we arrive. We also hope to find a teenager in the neighborhood who likes to babysit!!!!
- The Yankees clinched a playoff spot...yay for Dave.
Cheers!

Holy Moly, John! Stop growing. Kate, he looks so grown up with all that hair! I can't believe it. It is really amazing just how much they change at this age! I need to do some serious blog catching-up...hopefully I'll get to that this weekend. Janell has been onto me about it...Have a great rest of the week!
Hey, What about Reagan?? Who knew little boy's hearts could change so fast! :) JK!
Oh John looks so big in that first pic! Thanks for sharing your good news with the house. I *just* bought Caroline a pair of shoes from Target-so fun!
Congrats on buying a house! Woo hoo! That is so exciting! John is such a handsome little guy. If he doesn't end up marrying Makayla then maybe he'll fall for Holly ;) I'm sure you will make lots of wonderful friends in Florida! Who wouldn't want to pal around with you?
Gosh! John looks so much bigger since we were with you in August....
Crazy...looking at pictures of you John reminded me that it seems like the 18-24 month phase is such a big transition from toddler to more of a real, bona-fide kid!
He's such a well-traveled child.
*nostaglic sigh for military childhood*
Anyway, congratulations on buying a house, especially from a different state in which it is located! I can't wait to see pictures.
love,
deonna
wow. so, some typos in my comment...
i apologize.
Still think John is one of the cutest boys ever! Love it. Congrats on the house...so exciting and scary wrapped up in one. You'll love it. Being a homeowner is great. I can't believe I've been in Texas a year now! Craziness...I have friends here, but it takes so darn long to get close. I still miss all my England friends so very much!!!!
WOW! John looks so much like Dave! He does look like a little boy, I was just saying the same thing about Connor the other day. Can't wait to see you guys!
