Halfway point

Hello out there. Forgive the infrequent blogging... life overseas seemed to be more eventful (for better or for worse) than it is now. Here are some updates in my beloved bullet point fashion:

• We are under contract for a house in Florida! We are very excited to have a home of our own. We don't quite know all that it entails to have our own home, but we are excited and we look forward to what God has in store for us.
• John just looks like such a big boy these days! We got him a new pair of shoes (don't worry, they are from Target and only cost $17) and he looks like a real boy these days. We are proud of him as he is great at playing with other kids as well as by himself. He loves trains, buses and planes.
• We are at the halfway point of our stay here in San Antonio. It feels like we have been here a lot longer than two months. We miss our home and friends in the UK a lot. But we are trying to stay positive and count our blessings here in TX. When we came to TX we knew a few people, but when we go to Florida we won't know anyone really, (accept our Realtor and she will be sick of me by the time we get there) so our prayer is that we can make some fast friendships when we arrive. We also hope to find a teenager in the neighborhood who likes to babysit!!!!
• The Yankees clinched a playoff spot...yay for Dave.
