8 month pictures

 Well folks, this was the best one we got! Here Adam is at 8 months old. He already has four teeth that have come through and another three will most likely pop through in the next few days. He is still very affectionate and loooooves his mommy and daddy. We are eating it up because we know it won't last long.

Here is a thought for the day. 1 Cor 13- "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. ⁵ It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. ⁶ Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. ⁷ It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

This morning I heard a pastor say, "Do you love in this way? Is your attitude towards others patient, kind, not full of envy, etc.?" That is not my attitude most days. Most days I am in a hurry to get my stuff done and I don't like interuptions to my plan. When something doesn't go right in my book, whether it is an old person in front of me at the commissary who is so slow (and there are many of them), or a child who won't nap, I don't usually respond in a loving manner. So this was a good challenge to me to ask God to help me live this kind of love described in 1 Cor 13... I can't do it without His help!
