Adam is doing really well. He is a pretty content baby though you can tell he wants to be more independent. He is not crawling but he does sort of turn and scoot on his tummy. He loves to eat finger foods and he is pretty good at it. I read a really great tip that if your baby is having trouble picking up bits of finger food that you can crush up cheerios and make "cheerio dust" and coat the finger food pieces in the dust. It helps baby to pick them up. That has been very helpful for us. Adam is down to four liquid feedings a day and all of it from me! No bottles for his kid! AHHHH I know there are much worse things in the world but it is still hard to be so chained to him. I just ordered a new brand of sippy cups called "Tilty" and I hear that can help. We'll see. Otherwise, we are very much enjoying his company and are so grateful for his life.
Finally taking baths together!
Lastly, the saga of John vs. Adam continues. As I have mentioned before, John is not particularly friendly to Adam a lot of the time. This week was no exception. I was on the phone in the other room and I came out to find that John had found a pen, drew all over himself and Adam too. I was both shocked and very upset. John says, "But Mommy, he is not crying!" As you can see, John got very close to his eyes and I am still singing praises to God that He protected Adam from any harm. John forgets that Adam will grow up someday and he will take him some day! I don't know if I will do much to stop it! :) Please keep praying for their relationship.
Cheers and Happy Valentines Day.
