Cruisin' 2011

He loves loves loves his dad!

Last week my parents celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They love to go on cruises. I think I went on 11 cruises when I was growing up with them. I would say they have probably been on over 20 cruises by this point. So their preferred way to celebrate this milestone was with.... a cruise! We left from New Orleans and sailed to Costa Maya, Mexico, Belize, Honduras, and Cozumel. Each port was different from the others so we enjoyed exploring and doing a few shore excursions. One of the highlights was tandem pairisailing in Cozumel... I was very scared but relaxed after a few minutes! I am not a fan of heights these days :)

My parents got Dave and I two adjoining balcony staterooms on the ship so the boys had their own room. Cruise cabins are so small so that was really helpful. I enjoyed the complete change of scenery and routine, as well as having a lot of people to help with the kids! Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Not so happy in this picture but he loved playing all the pianos around the ship

With Grandma by the pool

The whole gang!

Waiting for a show to start. John loved going to the shows everynight.

Taking the ferry from the cruise to Belize

At the beach in Roatan, Honduras

First swim of 2011! This floaty thing was great to have

We loved all the little towel arrangements. John's steward left him a monkey hanging from the ceiling

At the great kids pool on the ship

John came back from the kid's program dressed as a pirate.

Cheers!

Looks like you had a great time! A little jealous here in freezing England. Can't wait to hear all about it!
