Catching Up!

Last week was really busy for us. Sunday, May 13th was Mother's Day and Adam's birthday, and then my birthday is May 17th! Here are a few pics:

Adam is so much fun. I feel like I never really "stopped and smelled the roses" when John was 2 because it was all so new and I wondered if I was doing everything right. But now, I just completely enjoy Adam at every stage and it is really fun. Though I do feel like he just keeps slipping through my fingers as he continues to grow. Some days I long for him to be more independent, but I will miss his innocence and wonder.

This last week also brought us our last soccer game of the season. Dave helped to coach John's soccer team, the Blue Bombers. They were ages 4-6. It was a test in patience for sure but I think was a good season over all. It was a bit tough for John, he got tired very easily, but it was still fun. Most all our friends and their kids did soccer, so on Saturday is was social hour for all of us. Adam really loved it too.

End of season medal


For my birthday, Dave and I had a nice dinner out at one of our favorite local restaurants, and then had a nice stroll through Gallery Night, a bi-monthly downtown outdoor celebration. It was a great night.
