On Thursday the boys started British primary school.
Compulsory education in the UK begins at four years old so Adam had his first day of if real school too! I was very weepy when John began kindergarten last year but because our lives have been so crazy and challenging lately I was not at all emotional. In fact, I kept singing s little tune with the words, "yay girl time!" To Natalie throughout the day.
The boys did well although Adam was very tired. His teacher said, "he was just shattered!" Not sure what that means but it didn't sound good. Time for a weekend break then back again on Monday. The school year doesn't end here until July 22nd!

yay for girl time :) When Caroline started full time school at almost 4 1/2, the first month she was pretty tired. I used to feed the kids dinner at 5, then she'd be in bed by 6 or 630. She was better after that first month.
