Moving In Day

On Friday we received our household goods shipment. We were excited to sleep in our own beds again! The truck showed up with five guys so they unloaded us completely in about three and a half hours.

We were worried that our two Queen-sized box springs wouldn't fit up the narrow stairs. Our fears came true and they wouldn't fit. Do we attempted to do some surgery.

Here is Dave cutting the box springs to see if we can bend it around the tight corner of the stairs. It has worked for some of our friends. Didn't work for us. I did not handle this well. But Dave saved the day and drove about an hour away to get two sets of split box springs the work for Queen mattresses. Thank you God.

So now we are unpacking and thankful for no major damages or losses.
