Christmas Disco

This past Friday the boys' school had an end-of-term disco. It is an hour-long nighttime dance held at the school in celebration of the end of the term (there are three terms: autumn, spring and summer... yes we get out of school here on July 22nd!). Since it was the boy's first disco, I offered to stay and help since I new they would be a bit nervous.

It turned out to be so much fun! They rented a real DJ with lights and everything. They played fun music and the kids all loved the dancing. They even did the "Okey Kokey" (not the "Hokey Pokey") and the Macarena. John paired up with a girl and they danced a lot. Then Adam wondered around and found a girl from his class and basically attached himself to her and danced with her the rest of the night. He just copied what she did. It made my heart so happy to see him with a friend and really enjoying himself.

Here is Adam with his friend Sophie (he is mainly on the left, sorry for the poor lighting):

And here is John:

We can't wait until the next Disco!
