Voting, Clapping, and Memorizing

Kate and I filled out our absentee ballots last night and they are ready to send in. John reacted to the news this morning by clapping for the first time. He is probably happy that he no longer has to watch news coverage of the election which has been ongoing for three years now. John also is celebrating that he doesn't have to watch a debate where the two candidates squabble like teenagers over who has the cooler bracelet given to them by some grief struck mother, and share half truths about one another. I thought these were supposed to be different politicians, but the first debate definitely showed otherwise. After awhile you come to find out that there are no different politicians.

On another note, John has a new verse for October.

John 1:12-But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.

We think that as much as John babbles and talks, he should be able to recite this verse by the end of the month no problem.

Cheers.
