What do you do for fun?
Well it was bound to happen. John's first time in child care and he got the dreaded pink eye. Not so fun for him nor for his mom as I had to take off of my internship for two days to watch him at home. I have really enjoyed working so I missed being with my new coworkers and I was at a loss as to what to do with John for the whole day. I took him to the library when his symptoms improved, but he could care less about all the children's books. He was facintated with the big lights in the library and that is all he cared about. Those of you who know my son know that he loves lights, fans and washing machines. So it dawned it on me... I should take him to Lowe's! So off we went to enjoy the numerous fans, light fixtures and washing machines. It was quite a treat and he sure was tired when we left.

He is so precious! My mom said he's a super handsome little guy too and Holly and I can't wait to meet him!
That is so funny that you took him to a home store because we take Holly to shoe stores or pet stores for entertainment. She LOVES pointing at the shoes and saying "shoes" and she is obsessed with cats so we either take her to PetsMart or my clinic and let her observe the patients :) Funny little kids!
What a smart idea about Lowe's! So creative are you :) And yep, the sickness begins. As soon as they start being around other kiddos on a regular basis the germs are ON. Then YOU will start getting sick too. All I can say is stock up on Emergen-C and hand sanitizer :)
