Our little man has had a difficult time going back to school this term. Tears every morning and one day he refused to even go in the classroom. The teachers are very kind and helpful to him, and they suggested he do some half days to ease back into things. He is just a timid kid and always afraid if the unknown. He us especially afraid of the older kids in the school. These kids play outside at the same time the little kids do and Adam was afraid he would get run over by one of them. Well just as we were trying to encourage him, saying the big kids are nice and just want to be your friend, he gets nailed in the stomach with a soccer ball kicked by one of them. Lovely. So now he puts up a fuss about going out to recess.
Please pray for his little heart, that he would warm up to his classmates and not be do timid about everything.
