Last week Dave's parents hosted all their kids and grandkids at a rented beach house in Destin, FL. It was a great time to reconnect and enjoy some time together. John loved playing with his cousins all week long and it was just a nice change of pace. The only drawback to the week was that Dave was finishing up his SOS course (a leadership training for captains in the Air Force) in Alabama so he could only be there on the weekends. But we will take what we can get.Instead of posting a whole summary of the week, I thought I would give you a little slice of what went on.
Beach vacation by the numbers:
14- people
7- number of years old Noah (our nephew) turned while we were there
6- number of children, also the number of bags of candy that just the adults went through!
5- number of little boys
4- number of bedrooms
3- number of times John threw up in one night
3:30- time that John woke up in the morning wanting to go play with his cousins
2- number of pregnant ladies present
1- bike ride for John, he loved it!
Now we have approximately six weeks to live normal life here before someone else comes to join our family.

What a fun beach vacation (minus the vomit!). Can't wait until your new little bundle makes his appearance!
Sounds like yall had a great time, except for the throwing up part :) 6 weeks isn't very long!
